Since 2008, Roswitha Schipfer is chairwoman of Büchereiverband Österreichs. Since 2000, she is director of Stadtbibliothek Graz. Roswitha Schipfer was responsible for the librarians’ education of the municipal libraries of Graz until 2003. She collaborates with different projects of Büchereiverband Österreichs and of the municipality of Graz. She is member of the management of Lesezentrum Steiermark. Roswitha Schipfer holds a degree from the University of Graz in German language and literature studies, and she is a certified librarian.
